Fun Weekend

Hello everyone, it was a great weekend! Jordan had a fantastic performance in Thoroughly Modern Millie! She played Mrs. Meers, a washed up actress pretending to be a Chinese hotel owner for poor abandoned aspiring actresses, and kidnaps them to China for white slavery. She was really hilarious! Lori and Taylor came on Thursday, Mom and dad on Friday, and Doug, Angie, Aubrey and Shane came Sunday. Thanks everyone for your support! We really were happy to have you visit us, and see the play. Jake came for the weekend too, a pleasant surprise for me!
Prom is this weekend, both Todd and Jordan are going with dates. Todd has 2 weeks left of school, he graduates May 31st. Going by way too fast! Hope everyone is well, looking forward to the summer, and enjoying this beautiful spring weather we are blessed with.
Love, Carrie

I know it's Been a While

Hello all,
I'm sorry it has been a while since I posted. really not a whole lot going on right now. Everyone is doing well. Jake started his last quarter of the year. He will be working at Riverside Hospital in the IT department this summer. Todd just finished training at LifeTime Fitness to work giving swim lessons again this summer, he continues to play rugby and dating Arielle. Jordan is getting ready for her play this May 1st and finishing up strong her junior year. She got a job at Steak N Shake for the summer. I'm busy with kid stuff, house stuff and still doing stained glass. Bob is busy with work, finding time to relax and get household chores done on the weekends. We will be heading up to Luna Pier April 25 th to open the cottage up for the season.. YooHoo!!!

I hope everyone is well, we hope to see all of you this summer...graduation parties maybe???

Love,
Carrie

This Chapter is Now Closed

It was a wonderful night last evening at Todd's swim banquet. Very poignant moments when the juniors got up and spoke about the seniors. After two of the swimmer's had spoken about Todd, they all had tears in their eyes, including me! Todd received a lot of praise for his work ethic, his friendships to all the swimmers and his leadership. He won the Patriot award for those attributes this year which shocked us because he won it his sophomore year too. He also won the scholar-athlete award, which of course we were very proud of. The girl with Todd is Jenna M who's been a friend of Todd's since freshman year.( we always secretly thought they'd make a great couple, Todd says she's too "type A" for him....) She won both awards for the girls. They both were the only 4 year letter winners too. Todd was really very humbled by all this attention, you can see his red face. Go Blue!

3 Hours Later!

I know this is no big deal for all of my East Coast Friends, but it sure is here! Very pretty, just need a little Christmas music to finish the mood.

Winter Wonderland!

This is what we woke up to this morning and they're predicting 6"-10" more by 6 pm tonight. It may be one of the biggest snow falls in Columbus in the past 100 years! Snowman building time today!

Jordan's State Speech Competition

Jordan made it through the semi-finals, not to the finals in her first year of Humorous Interpretation. She's not sure where she placed just yet, but it will be in the top 12 in the state! We are very proud, she received a medal and a lot of compliments! Next year she said she knows what to do to get to the final rounds...so the challenge is on!

We later found out Jordan was 4th, they take the top 3 to the final rounds! She is determined to get there next year! As you can imagine we are very proud of her accomplishments!
