Quicky Update

Hello all,
Not much to report today, Kids are home from school, I think it's their 4th snow day. Todd and I are heading to the gym in a little while. Jordan got her new splint she has to wear before her 3rd set of braces in a few months. I don't know if I mentioned she has to have jaw surgery over next Christmas to correct her malformed growing jaw. Hopefully that will take care of the worsening TMJ symptoms and crooked jaw! She's doing OK with it. I was just contacted by someone in St. Louis who saw my webstore and wants me to make 1 for sure, possibly 4-5 Victorian Style stained glass panels for her. Wish me luck in getting this job! Hope spring comes soon!

Jordan's Senior Pictures Already

Yes, Jordan had her pictures done as a representative of the studio so we got them already. She wanted me to post a few of them for all of you to see. I'm making her wait until May to hand them out to her senior friends. It's looking like a White Christmas here this morning!

Jordan's Play this Weekend and Todd in Districts

Hello all,
Well, it was a very busy weekend starting with a trip to Athens, OH at OU for the district swim meet. Todd was in 3 relays, and swam his best times ever. He is happy it is now over! For Bob and I though it is a little sad that this part of his life is done! We really enjoyed watching him swim. He's decided to play rugby with a lot of his friends and has been conditioning for that.
Todd has also decided to attend U of M next fall so he will also become a Wolverine. He plans on playing rugby on their club team. The business school encourages extra-curriculars. we visited Jake, he's doing well, loves the ITS major he is in, took the boys to dinner before heading home.

It was also the opening night for the senior play of which Jordan had some big roles. It was a hilarious spoof on high school. Jordan loves acting so much, and it shows. She is fun to watch. Jordan was told she had a lead in the spring musical. She is on cloud nine!

Update for you all!

Hello everyone, here I am sitting at the computer again, procrastinating on cleaning as usual! kids are home from school today, SNOW DAY!! It's coming your way my MA friends!
Well, Todd was disappointed he just missed the cut-off on the 50 free in sectionals, but he did have his best time, he'll be going to districts on Friday swimming 3 relays, we'll go down to watch and take Jake out to dinner before we head home.
Good news for Jordan, she auditioned last week for the spring musical and came home last night with one of the leads! She is so happy, and knows that all the hard work can pay off! We're really proud of her! The play is Thoroughly Modern Millie, it's been on Broadway. She plays Mrs. Meers, the devious antagonist.
Congratulations to my nephew Shane who found acting in school plays is actually fun! I heard he did a great job.

Visit to the University of Michigan

Well, Todd, Bob and I made the trip Thursday night to Ann Arbor thankfully because I don't think we would have made it by 8 am Friday morning for the beginning of Campus Day for admitted students. There was about 6" of snow already by 8 am. We had a really good visit, tour and question answer sessions from students, faculty and advisers. I want to come back as my kids in another life! What an awesome place, a little over whelming for Todd I think. He really liked the campus a lot. We are still waiting to hear from UFlorida by Feb 15th before he makes his final decision.

Jordan just called with the news that she made it to States in her speech tournament! I guess it takes place in Medina at the end of the month for 3 days.

Jake is plugging along in school, he likes his new major, ITS. He is now taking marketing and ITS classes.
