This Chapter is Now Closed

It was a wonderful night last evening at Todd's swim banquet. Very poignant moments when the juniors got up and spoke about the seniors. After two of the swimmer's had spoken about Todd, they all had tears in their eyes, including me! Todd received a lot of praise for his work ethic, his friendships to all the swimmers and his leadership. He won the Patriot award for those attributes this year which shocked us because he won it his sophomore year too. He also won the scholar-athlete award, which of course we were very proud of. The girl with Todd is Jenna M who's been a friend of Todd's since freshman year.( we always secretly thought they'd make a great couple, Todd says she's too "type A" for him....) She won both awards for the girls. They both were the only 4 year letter winners too. Todd was really very humbled by all this attention, you can see his red face. Go Blue!

3 Hours Later!

I know this is no big deal for all of my East Coast Friends, but it sure is here! Very pretty, just need a little Christmas music to finish the mood.

Winter Wonderland!

This is what we woke up to this morning and they're predicting 6"-10" more by 6 pm tonight. It may be one of the biggest snow falls in Columbus in the past 100 years! Snowman building time today!

Jordan's State Speech Competition

Jordan made it through the semi-finals, not to the finals in her first year of Humorous Interpretation. She's not sure where she placed just yet, but it will be in the top 12 in the state! We are very proud, she received a medal and a lot of compliments! Next year she said she knows what to do to get to the final rounds...so the challenge is on!

We later found out Jordan was 4th, they take the top 3 to the final rounds! She is determined to get there next year! As you can imagine we are very proud of her accomplishments!
